CTWP believes in "Customers for Life"

Our History

January 2, 1979, A.B. Dick Products of Waco opened - selling mimeograph, spirit duplicators, offset and wet copier machines. By 1980, the company had grown to 3 cities, Waco, Bryan-College Station and San Angelo. During that time, Central Texas Word Processing was formed selling the Phillips Micom Word Processor. By 1984, we were the largest independent dealer of word processors in the country. In 1985 the name changed to CTWP. We began selling and building personal computers. In 1986 we became the Apple dealer for Central Texas. 1988 brought the Computerland franchise and in 1989, we began to refocus on copiers. In 1993 we became the Minolta dealer in San Antonio. In 2003 our newest office opened in Abilene, Texas. There are two original employees remaining, one is David Willie, President and founder, the second is Dudley Jones, Vice President and Service Manager.

Our Growth

Since the beginning the company has grown from four employees to over 100 employees. A major percentage of these employees are long term employees bringing vast knowledge and experience to this company. The present day CTWP is the largest independently owned copier corporation in TEXAS with offices in Waco, Temple, San Antonio, San Angelo, and Bryan. In all these cities, CTWP is recognized as a major dealer in that area.
